The Business Platinum® Card from American Express charges a high annual fee, but it can be worth it after you factor in travel rewards, credits, and other benefits.
I closed my Business Platinum when the annual fee increased and opened the Chase Sapphire Reserve instead, because its benefits were a better fit for me. But if you own a small business and you travel a lot, the Business Platinum is a great option.
Until December 4, the card is offering a welcome bonus of up to 100,000 points for new accounts. You’ll earn 50,000 points after spending $10,000 and an extra 50,000 points after spending an additional $15,000 in the first three months.
The Business Platinum card includes access to exclusive airport lounges and elite status at big hotel chains, plus annual credits to cover things like airline incidental fees and US purchases at Dell.
