The Cleveland Browns announced on Thursday that they have hired former Kansas City Chiefs executive John Dorsey as the team’s new general manager.
The announcement comes just hours after the Browns fired Sashi Brown. Cleveland posted a 1-27 record in Brown’s two seasons with the franchise.
Dorsey was GM of the Chiefs from 2013 to 2016. Kansas City won the AFC West last year and racked up a 43-21 regular-season record, the fourth-highest winning percentage in the NFL in that span.
