From gracing the covers of international magazines to walking the runways of the industry’s biggest designers and even fronting global campaigns, Joan Smalls, Lineisy Montero, Dilone, and Mica Argañaraz are killing it on runways at NYFW.
The Veteran: Joan Smalls
The Puerto Rican catwalker has been strutting her stuff since 2007. She’s landed 73 magazine covers, including 88 campaigns, and has walked almost 300 runways. In 2011, she landed acoveted spot as an Estée Lauder spokesperson. And the inexhaustible 29-years-old isn’t slowing down anytime soon: During NYFW, she’s walked for Fenty Puma, Alexander Wang, Jeremy Scott, Brandon Maxwell, and Tom Ford.
The Cool Girl: Mica Argañaraz
Argañaraz—ranked among the top 50 models in the world according to Models.com—launched her career at Christopher Kane’s SS13 show back in 2012. Her signature shaggy fringe and prominent jaw line have catapulted her from her Argentinian hometown to runways across the globe and on international magazine covers. The Prada muse and recent Vogue Japan cover girl is killing it at NYFW for Fenty Puma, Calvin Klein, and Tom Ford.
